This story which I found at this site explains why pop star Moby thinks that maybe rising co2 levels in the atmosphere could possibly be responsible for Anxiety Panic Attack Symptoms
Dance star MOBY has undergone medical tests to determine what causes him to suffer panic attacks. The Porcelain hitmaker volunteered for the U.S. study, which sought to determine if carbon dioxide causes attacks. A link was found - and now Moby fears the condition will become more widespread, because of rising levels of co2 in the atmosphere. He writes on his blog, "Like many people, I suffer panic attacks and years ago I was part of a study at Columbia university which examined the role of co2 in panic attack onset. "The study pretty clearly demonstrated that elevated levels of carbon dioxide can trigger panic attacks. "I'm not a scientist, but I was thinking recently: 'Aren't co2 levels rising globally?' and it got me to thinking: if elevated carbon dioxide levels can trigger panic attacks, and carbon dioxide levels are rising globally...well, could elevated global levels of carbon dioxide create an environment wherein people are generally more prone to anxiety and panic?'"

ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS
Panic and anxiety are our bodies’ normal response to danger. This reaction is a reason why the human race has been able to evolve despite all of the dangers that our ancestors had to face. Were we to live without this defense mechanism there is a strong chance that we would blindly walk into danger and get killed. Should this defensive response to danger go out of control, then instead of normal anxiety and panic, we must deal with panic attack symptoms or worse.
Panic attacks are scary as they overwhelm us with a sudden surge of irrational fear. There is no time to prepare for the panic attack symptoms as we receive no prior warning. These intense feelings of panic can arise for no obvious fear.
How would you know what the panic attack symptoms are? While there are a number of them, should you suffer from four or more of these symptoms then you may inform a trained anxiety specialist that you could be suffering from panic attack disorder. The sooner that you have these symptoms medically identified then your proper course of medication may begin.
The many panic attack symptoms are as follows: a violently pounding heart, difficulty breathing, feeling a lack of oxygen, mind numbing terror, dizziness, light headedness, nausea, trembling, lots of sweating, shaking, choking, chest pains, hot flashes, sudden chills, tingling in the fingers or toes.
As much as these are part of our ingrained response to fighting for survival or fleeing uncontrollable danger, these become symptoms of panic when this reaction arises for no known dangers or circumstances. Panic attack symptoms may come into existence in situations that seem to be harmless to an outside observer. A person who has panic attack disorder will manifest this complaint even in the throes of deep sleep.
Panic attack symptoms can let us know that we are suffering from a mental condition that can be treated successfully. As untreated panic attack can deteriorate into panic disorder it is best to understand panic attack symptoms for what they are and get medical aid as fast as possible.
Should you experience a panic attack in a place like an elevator then you might develop another type of anxiety disorder as well. This disorder is specific phobia and arises more out of your desire not to go through another bout of panic attack or feel the paralyzing effects of panic attack symptoms, rather than having a phobia regarding elevators.
Sufferers of panic attacks know that this disorder can strike at any time without any warning. This leaves no time to prepare or stop the panic attack symptoms. They also know that the level of fear that they experience has nothing to do with their situation.
Once you and your psychiatrist or doctor, have identified what your panic attack symptoms really are then you can try cognitive and behavioral therapy in conjunction with prescription medicines to reduce and maybe even cure your panic attacks. There’s no better alternative than a cure.

ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS MAY BE A WARNING
This article appeared recently - I think it makes for an interesting read. CLICK HERE to read the rest of the story...
CHICAGO -- The rapid pulse and shortness of breath of a panic attack can feel like a heart attack, and it may signal heart trouble down the road, a study of more than 3,000 older women suggests.
Women who reported at least one full-blown panic attack during a six-month period were three times more likely to have a heart attack or stroke over the next five years than women who didn't report a panic attack.
The researchers took into account other risk factors such as smoking, high blood pressure, inactivity and depression and still found that panic attacks raised risk.
The findings add panic attacks to a list of mental health issues -- depression, fear, hostility and anxiety -- already linked in previous research to heart problems, said study co-author Dr. Jordan Smoller of Boston's Massachusetts General Hospital.
"Postmenopausal women who are experiencing panic attacks may be a subgroup with elevated risk," Smoller said. "Monitoring them and reducing their cardiovascular risk may be important."
The study, published in today's Archives of General Psychiatry, wasn't designed to explain the link, Smoller said. He speculated that a panic attack may trigger heart rhythm problems or that stress hormones released during an attack may harm the heart...

ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS MAY RAISE HEART ATTACK RISK
This article outlines that heart attacks maybe linked to anxiety panic attack symptoms and I think that after reading this story it is even more to try to find a natural cure for panic attacks.

THERE IS NO REASON TO WORRY ABOUT ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS (2)
Unfortunately most panic attack victims worry so much about having another attack that they become totally obsessed with the thought. This is because the first attack proved to be so terrifying. The problem is that the cause of another attack is the very thought of having one.
The fear of having another attack makes us all the more open to having one because we dwell on the fear and blow it out of proportion, causing a trigger-happy alarm. Conversely, by refusing to dwell on the fear of once again finding ourselves victim to [anxiety panic attack symptoms], the odds of us falling prey to another panic attack drop considerably.
The main tip for panic attack sufferers that can be given is not to worry about having another one. The answer is to make the attacks a distant memory by being prepared to tackle them head on. You really should try to avoid any dubious anxiety attack panic treatment or medication.
Another good [tip for panic attack] is not to concern yourself with finding the appropriate [anxiety attack panic treatment] that will reduce the frequency of your attacks, but to look for effective methods of facing them head on.
If the victim can manage to do this they will become far more confident then they will lose their fear and eventually get rid of all anxiety panic attack symptoms

THERE IS NO REASON TO WORRY ABOUT ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS (1)
In my next couple of postings I'll explain why you really should be afraid of suffering from anxiety panic attack symptoms. Be sure to keep an eye open for my next post coming soon.
If you're fresh off your first attack, then the first thing you need to know is that you're not crazy. Chances are that a lot more people than you think have gone through anxiety panic attack symptoms at least once in their lives. The second thing you need to know is that you're not going to die from having another attack, in spite of what your first one may have led you to believe.
The trauma is so terrible after the first attack many sufferers are totally terrified at the thought of another attack. The attacks certainly leave their mark on the individuals and first-time sufferers are often left totally traumatised.
More than the panic attacks themselves, it's this fear that can cripple victims, preventing them from enjoying life to the fullest and sometimes causing them to shut themselves away from the world, not to live at all. These victims are so affected by the trauma of their first attack that they fail to realize there is nothing to be afraid of.
What allows everyone to survive is our innate security system that alerts us to the perils around us and our response to this alarm is to either fight it or flee from it.
Panic attacks are a result of that system going haywire, pushing us to respond to a false alarm. Our panic stems in part from a lack of understanding of what we're supposed to be afraid of, and how we're supposed to react to it. Because we don't know whether to fight or flee we feel vulnerable to our fear, completely oblivious to the fact that there is no real threat.

ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS FROM AN OUTSIDERS VIEWPOINT
"It's been a long time since he's had any Anxiety Panic Attack Symptoms," you think and you know then that there is no way he will give in.
He suffered his first panic attack at school and he associates it with the fear of death, temper tantrums and looking foolish in front of his friends.
You are both about to take your college entrance exams which are a stiff test. You get nervous knowing that you won't be going home for at least five hours and that your future prospects can be damaged if you go before the correct time. In the past this is when your friend would suffer from anxiety panic attack symptoms.
As the hours pass you realise that at last your friend knows what to do when panic attacks and because of his new anxiety attack panic treatment he can deal with the pressure.
In my next post I'll let you have more points about recognising anxiety panic attack symptoms.

CHANGING YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT HOW DO DEAL WITH ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS
I really enjoyed reading this post http://www.blogcharm.com/shygirl5/31841/Changing+Our+Thoughts.html on Anxiety Panic Attack Symptoms so I thought I'd share it with you.
Overcoming social anxiety is a simple process... on paper. For a person suffering from social anxiety, like myself, it is one of the hardest processes to go through.
We've recorded our thoughts, beliefs, expectations, and analyzed and rated and dissected them.
Now we have to change them. To do this, we have to develop healthier ways to think about and respond to social situations we fear. Bottom line... we need to change the way we think.
We are going to get rid of the “faulty” or negative thoughts and replace them with more realistic and constructive thoughts.
Here are the guidelines for our new thoughts:
They must be in our own words not some far out techie words
They must relate or apply directly to the situation. If blushing is the concern, a new thought about sweating won't work.
They must be realistic. Use I am confident and calm, not, I will not panic
They must be short and to the point. Our thoughts are so fast we have to learn and memorize our new thoughts so they are second nature and automatic when we have to use them.
The last point above is pretty important. I have a very difficult time applying this one when I am in a social situation and panic is about to begin. One trick I have learned is to visualize a huge red STOP sign and say the word STOP (in my head). It actually interrupts my negative thoughts and I am able to apply new ones.

CAN THE POWER OF PRAYER STOP ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK STYMPTOMS?
I came about this fascinating article about how the power of prayer can maybe alleviate Anxiety Panic Attack Symptoms.
When I was a young girl, I'd ask God every night to watch over my family. I dutifully prayed for each member by name, fearful that something terrible would happen if I forgot, because when you're a child, the world and all that goes on in it revolves around you and your actions. I also prayed for world peace and an end to hunger and suffering - things haven't much changed in 35 (or so) years - and I truly believed my little prayers could save the world and all who were in it.
While I grew distant from religion during my self-absorbed 20s, I sought a church in my child-rearing 30s. Thank goodness I had my faith to help me through my cancer crisis in my 40s! Besides the benefits received while physically at worship services on Sundays, I needed daily assurances. Indeed, my disease brought my relationship with God to a whole new level.
I haven't talked much about my faith previously, but I would be remiss not to devote a column to it because spiritual healing was as important as any doctor visit. After my diagnosis, I once again became diligent about my daily conversations with God.
There was no bartering, no "If you make me well, I'll be a good person for the rest of my life." There was no bitterness, no "How could you do this to me and my family, Lord?" There was no disillusion, no "Since this has happened, I no longer believe." On the contrary. There was simply, "Dear God, please help me get through this."
The panic attacks started soon after I found the lump. Now if you are only acquainted with the post-cancer Lori, you may find it hard to believe that the pre-cancer me was very high-strung. When faced with conflict, real or perceived, I'd rant and rave and become a physical and emotional wreck - just ask my husband or kids to elaborate; they do a pretty good imitation since I occasionally regress.....

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TO TAKE MEDICATION FOR ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS - Part 2
In my post I briefly explained that many medical practitioners are all too quick to prescribe medicines to ward off anxiety panic attack symptoms, and that is often the root cause of the problem.
Patients who have gone through anxiety panic attack symptoms often just need the reassurance that they will not fall over the edge ~ what they need primarily, more than just any anxiety attack panic treatment, is the confidence to get through another day.
Medicinal prescriptions often foster a feeling of dependency and take away the means to build up confidence and the drugs often make the victims think of the medicine as some kind of crutch that they totally rely on and that without the medicine they cannot deal with anxiety panic attack symptoms alone.
This problem is what should really worry both doctors and patients, even more than the nasty side effects. The drugs only provide temporary relief and if used constantly the victim will continue to worry for the rest of their lives that the panic attacks will return.
Another problem with medicinal remedies is that eventually the body will build up a natural tolerance so that with prolonged use the drug will become less effective and it will come as a huge shock to find that one day the crutch that was relied upon is no longer there.
All the reasons that I have outlined must surely confirm that natural cure for panic attacks should be given preference to medication. Obviously natural remedies do not give instant relief but when the benefits do start they will last indefinitely and by following this course patients will learn that they can overcome anxiety panic attack symptoms and regain their confidence alone.
Anyone can overcome the need to eliminate panic attacks without medicine. When patients realize there will be no more panic attacks they lost the fear thus reducing the threat of anxiety panic attack symptoms to nothing other than a bad memory.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TO TAKE MEDICATION FOR ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS - Part 1
Even if you are healthy, coping with any of the anxiety panic attack symptoms initially could easily be one of the most frightening feelings anyone ever experiences ~ no matter what age, male or female.
Often the experience is enough to bring on the worry of having another panic attack, making the victim try to find any kind of anxiety attack panic treatment.
The convenience of medication is often what people choose because it is thought to be more convenient and also because some victims are worried about facing their next panic attack without help. This is why a natural cure for panic attack is usually best.
The first medication usually prescribed to ward off anxiety panic attack symptoms are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) which greatly reduce the frequency of the panic attacks, but it takes several weeks from starting the medication to see any benefits.
Another medicinal option is benzodiazepines which are a lot faster in dropping the panic attack frequency. However, this benefit comes at a cost in that these drugs are well known to give many nasty side effects, and have to be taken throughout the day over a period of a few weeks.
Why then are doctors handing out prescriptions for SSRIs, benzodiazepines and other drugs that are used for anxiety attack panic treatment when they are costly, produce nasty side effects and are generally troublesome? Mainly because many patients regard them as the only answer to their problem ~ basically they are seen as a quick, easy fix.
In my next post I'll elaborate a little further on more reasons for not taking medicinal remedies for warding off anxiety panic attack symptoms.

REASONS TO DEAL NATURALLY WITH ANXIETY PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS
Victims of Anxiety Panic Attack Symptoms will often do anything to help eliminate future panic attacks and it is just as well they have several options, although making the right decision is not always easy.
Some sufferers opt for one method and ignore others and there has been a long-running argument as to which Anxiety Attack Panic Treatment is the best - medication or natural cures for panic attacks, but I think there are several reasons to take the natural course.
1. Medications fall short
Medication does provide some relief but in the long term it does not get to the heart of the problem and eliminate the fear that the Anxiety Panic Attack Symptoms brought on.
2.Fighting back
With medication you may not have as many panic attacks but when one does occur you just hope you get through it, but with natural cures for panic attacks in time the attacks will lost their edge and hopefully go completely.
3. Lasting effects
The medicinal benefits will only continue whilst you take the medicine but natural cures for panic attacks enable you to learn to eliminate them altogether.
